Graphs Showing True Facts About Everyday Life

Danish writer Mikael Wulff and cartoon artist Anders Morgenthaler have created a brilliant series of graphs that illustrate some of the basic painful truths of everyday life.

Their rise to success started in 2001, when they entered a cartoon competition – and won.

They received a one-month run of their comic strip in Politiken, a national Danish newspaper.

Their popularity soared and publishers including newspapers throughout Scandinavia and Germany took their work.

Their most recent accomplishment was becoming a regular cartoon strip in the New York Times.

Words of Comfort and Guidance

Sometimes a day just takes it out of you. Worries, problems, challenges - they can stress us out and sap our strength. Sometimes it's just that things don't seem to get better or go the way we'd them to.

At such times, the thoughts that swirl in our head have the power of bringing us down - or raising us up. So when you feel them going in the wrong direction, I'd you to take a moment and read a few of these, they always make me feel better about today and more confident about tomorrow.

These lines of thought can aid or hinder us, lift or debase us. When these thoughts are uplifting, supportive and beautiful, we are the richer for it, as we carry in us the seeds of inspiration and hope for ourselves.

These are lines and thoughts we should all carry in our hearts and minds to help us on our way in life.
